Kujawa ECPK Annual Mardi Gras Parade

                 mardi gras

The origins of Mardi Gras can be traced back to medieval Europe, passing through Rome and Venice in the 17th and 18th centuries to the French House of the Bourbons. On Tuesday, February 13, 2018 Kujawa EC/PK Center hosted the annual Mardi Gras parade.  We invited classes from Kujawa Elementary to take part in the festivities.  All students enjoyed listening to traditional Mardi Gras music as they walked around waving and handing beaded necklaces to the crowd.

Destination Imagination

Kujawa Education Center had multiple teams to participate in the Destination Imaginational Tournament at Tomball High School on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  The students displayed all 10 of our IB learner profile attributes as they performed in front of their families, teachers, principals, and community members.  All of the adults in the room were pleasantly surprised by the student created and directed acts.  We are extremely proud of our Kujawa Koalas.

Health Fair

Kujawa EC/PK Center hosted its annual P.A.L.S. (Parents Are the Link to Success) Health Fair on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Our campus nurse, Mrs. Quillin organized the event which puts parents and community members in contact with local health and wellness organizations, as well as other community partners. The vendors included United Healthcare, South Texas Dental, Sam’s Club, W.I.C., and many more. Over 70 parents and community members attended the morning event and left with useful information and a few goodies! Kujawa EC/PK is proud to promote healthy lifestyles and provide awareness of all the goods and services in our community.

 Mother-Son and Father-Daughter Dances

February 8th and 9th were very special days for our little koalas because they had an opportunity to spend quality time with an important adult in their lives.  Kujawa EC/PK Center hosted the Mother-Son and Father-Daughter dances.  It was a beautiful and joyous occasion, and heartwarming to see the students and parents enjoy each other’s company while dancing and eating together.
